Happy Halloween!

As previously promised, here are some highlights from our halloween photo shoot with the Hicks cousins.

Many of them turned out a bit like this with the two oldest reaching for their bribes.

But we were able to get a few that we think are pretty great.

 Happy Halloween!

Halloweentime

We had a blast on our annual trip to Disneyland during Fall Break.  We love this time of year because the place is decked out for Halloween.  It was so great for Brigham to spend some quality time with his grandparents.

We were so lucky to be able to spend a day with Adam who happened to be staying in LA for a work conference.  He lives in Alaska, so unfortunately we don't get to see him very often.

I had to snap a picture of the three brothers since this is probably the last time they will be together for a few years.

Brigham loved all the lights.  I think driving through Vegas at night was actually one of his favorite parts of the trip.  He also enjoyed a few minutes of World of Color before he gave in to his exhaustion and fell asleep.

We let Brigham try his hand at the sword in the stone.   Apparently he will not be the next King.

One of the highlights of the trip was Mickey's Trick or Treat Party.  We did lots of trick or treating and came home with way too much candy.

Another great trip to Disneyland and a great way to start celebrating the halloween season.

13 Months!

The little man is 13 months old already!

I never got around to doing a one year photo shoot, but we went out and did a quick photo shoot last week.  As usual, he was a champ when it came to performing in front of the camera.

More Family Fun!

When we left Oregon we brought Julia, Jacob, and Landon with us to enjoy some time in Utah.  We kept very busy with lots of painting, glittering, gluing, sewing, eating, going on outings, visiting family, and taking pictures.  These are some of my favorite pics from the week.

Grandma showed the boys how to paint Mickey Mouse.

 We visited the zoo.

We did a photo shoot at the Great Salt Lake with one of our favorite families.

And we enjoyed lots of time with these cute kids.  We attempted two photo shoots with the four of them and this was the best we got from this one.

The other one involved Halloween costumes and turned out much better, but I will save those for another day.

Oregon

Brigham and I got to make another trip to Oregon to visit the Davis family and meet our newest nephew/cousin, Landon Michael.  He is such a cutie and we were so glad we were able to meet him before he grows up too much.

Before we could go anywhere, somehow we found a way to fit three large carseats in the back of the honda civic.  Once we were able to do that, we had some fun outings.

We visited the local farmer's market where we got to see a bit of the local Oregonian culture and sample Oregon pears that were so yummy.

The boys enjoyed climbing around on the rocks,

and playing in the dirt (or eating it).

We visited a local toy store that has a playroom upstairs where the kids can play with lots of different toys.  One of Brigham's favorites was the grocery cart that he could use to help him walk quickly around the room.

They also loved the fake food and we had a hard time tearing them away from it when it was time to go.

The trip included a visit to the dentist, lots of good company and good food, but one of my favorite parts was watching these two boys play together.  They had a great time playing in the tub, throwing grass in the field, and chasing each other up and down the hallway.

We had such a great time and hope we get to go again soon!
